Lemma vs. description
[veisau]Hi. In wiktionaries lemmata are the denomination of pages and inside those pages descriptions or translations are provided, not the other way round. Actually, the reason you provided in this edit is the best reason not to perform the reverting edit you did. Will you ever find "sharing ancestral god" as a lemma in any other wiktionary? Wiktionaries are not reverse dictionaries because search features are good enough to get the same service without needing to build one... and, even though this were a reverse dictionary, the description should be in Fijian, not English. Regards. --87.217.184.152 02:20, 4 Veverueri 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the extensive explanation. You're right indeed, but the page sharing ancestral god is already deleted by Ajraddatz. Regards, Trijnstel 11:28, 4 Veverueri 2012 (UTC)
